Study support
Paid study leave for ICAG and ACCA sittings, exam fees at first attempt, and a qualified mentor for every student.
Careers — Achimota, Accra
We are a partner-led firm in Achimota, Accra. That size is the point: trainees sit in the fieldwork, in the review and in the room when the findings are put to the client. You will not spend three years on the same disclosure note.
01 — Why here
Our clients range from owner-managed Ghanaian businesses to NGOs and subsidiaries of international groups. On any one of them you will meet the finance officer, the auditor's working papers and the partner's review notes in the same week.
Paid study leave for ICAG and ACCA sittings, exam fees at first attempt, and a qualified mentor for every student.
Statutory audit, tax, payroll and advisory files — deliberately mixed, so your training record is not narrow.
Reviews are done face to face. If your work is wrong you will hear why, and if it is right you will hear that too.
02 — Open roles
Roles are listed as they open. Strong speculative applications are read and kept on file — several of our current staff joined that way.
For graduates who have started, or are about to start, professional examinations. You will be on client sites from your first month, working through cash, receivables, payroll and stock under a senior's review.
We look for: a good first degree in accounting, finance or a numerate subject; at least one professional paper passed or booked; clear written English.
For part-qualified or newly qualified accountants with two to five years in a Ghanaian practice. You will run fieldwork on your own engagements, brief trainees and take a first pass at the file before the partner does.
We look for: IFRS and IFRS for SMEs in practice, not just in theory; experience of a full audit cycle end to end; the judgement to raise an issue early rather than at sign-off.
Corporate and personal income tax, V.A.T., withholding tax and GRA correspondence, including audits and objections. Suits someone who reads the Act itself rather than the summary of it.
We look for: working knowledge of the Income Tax Act, 2015 (Act 896) and the V.A.T. Act, 2013 (Act 870); CITG membership or progress towards it is an advantage.
Outsourced bookkeeping, management accounts and monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients — including SSNIT and PAYE filings and the statutory deadlines that come with them.
We look for: HND or degree in accounting; hands-on with QuickBooks, Sage or Tally; the kind of person who reconciles before being asked.
A small number of placements each year, with the same training and the same client exposure as our trainees. Several have converted to full positions.
We look for: posting letter or school confirmation, and a genuine interest in practice rather than a place to sit.
03 — How it works
CV and a short covering note. We read every one; you will hear back either way within ten working days.
A short, realistic piece of work — a reconciliation, a tax computation or a set of findings to write up. Done in your own time.
A conversation about your exercise and about the files you have worked on. Bring questions; we would rather you had them.
Written offer with the study support set out in it, and a named supervisor from day one.
